Custom Washer Toss

Are you ready for some serious competition? Washer pitching is a game that’s sure to get your adrenaline pumping! Just like horseshoes, this game involves teams of players taking turns tossing washers towards a box or hole. There are numerous variations, and it goes by many names, including washer pitching, washer toss, washers, huachas, or washoes (which is derived from the similarity to horseshoes). The goal is to earn points by tossing metal washers, typically around two inches in diameter and 1/8 inch thick, towards a hole usually marked by a can or PVC pipe, often positioned in a box placed roughly 20 feet away from each other. To play, the throwing player stands behind or next to one box and launches washers towards the other, typically using an underhand throw. The scoring is similar to horseshoes in that the second team to throw can wash-out or rebut any points that the first team has scored before adding to their own total. You earn three points for a non-rebutted ringer, which is a washer in the cup, and one point for each non-rebutted washer inside the box. Games usually run until a team reaches 21 points.
